Kerri-Lee Mayland is an Emmy-award winning journalist who has worked in Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC, Phoenix, Tucson, Salisbury MD and after marrying her husband Kirt, now calls Connecticut home. She was awarded Emmy’s for Best News Anchor in 2009 and 2007.
Aside from her love for story telling, she also has a deep passion for the outdoors, the environment, interior design, entertaining, gardening and athletics. She splits her time between Princeton, NJ and Lakeville, CT.
Kerri-Lee writes for Philadelphia Row Home Magazine as their Greenspace Editor. She has been featured in several magazines including W Magazine and New Woman, and was a columnist for Philadelphia Style and Phillyfit magazines.
She and her husband Kirt, young son Van and baby Katalina love to spend time as a family doing sports and outdoor activities year round. Her favorite way to kill an afternoon is to cut clippings from her herb garden with the family bunny “Thumper” who happily nibbles on the pickings.
